Would I make more money selling the entire book or the prints from an illustrated art book from 1888?

The book is a first addition (copyright 1888) "Art and Artists of Our Time" by Clarence Cook. The binding is in fair condition , but the prints are absolutely excellent. I did find an online appraisal for one version which was about $68.... but the prints are so beautiful i cannot see myself getting rid of it at such a low cost ... i have made a small gallery of the book covers / details - it can bee viewed here : www.mygeeklady.com/oldbooks THank You !!!Would I make more money selling the entire book or the prints from an illustrated art book from 1888?
This is the wrong place to look for advice on a question like that. You need to have the book evaluated by an expert. Sometimes, dismantling a book like that and selling the prints individually is done. But you don't just tear them out. And sometimes, removing the prints would be a big mistake. You need professional guidance on this.Would I make more money selling the entire book or the prints from an illustrated art book from 1888?
Cutting up the book will destroy *all* value.
