it's illustrated by David cook. It's a Whitman book by Western Publishing companyI have a treasure island book by Robert Louis Stevenson, the only date on it is 1971 is it worth anything?
Probably not. Even if it's in great condition, Western Publishing printed a lot of copies of these books in the 70's. The story was first published in the 1800's (by a different publisher) so it's nowhere near a first edition. I can't think of any reason this book would be worth anything other than sentimental value.
