The Cathedral in Florence--Il Duomo, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Coliseum in Rome, the beaches at Rimini, the canals of Venice.

Wine bottles and vineyards, cheese and bread.

Spaghetti. Guitar music with loud vocal arrangements.

Striped shirts and white pants. (men)

Flowery dresses and dancing women.

Red, white and green flag.

The boot shaped map.

The Alps mountain range in the north.

The Mediterranean Sea in the south.

And on, and on...Animals and objects that represent Italy?
Romulus and Remus are the mythological founders of the the City of Rome, and they are most often represented drinking from a milk laden wolf (who was said to have reared them).

Also, Vatican City (while in but not part of Rome) and the Pope are very iconic images that would remind most Catholics and many Christians of ItalyAnimals and objects that represent Italy?
